Last Entry - Next Entry - Newest Entry sad July 03, 2003 ~ 5:00 PM Finally out of her work shirt and back into her cat ears, Kat was quickly making her way to the bathroom to wash her hands. Ever since she'd started working at the Boardwalk, her fifteen minute breaks have consisted of walking to the bathroom, washing her hands, going to the churro place, asking for a cup of water, and rushing back to her station. Today, on her way to the restroom, she was calling someone on her cell phone. *ring* *ring* *ring* "Hello?" "Hey, what are you up to?" "{something indiscernible due to the noisy surroundings}... Who's this?" "Meow." "Oh." *click* Kat suddenly stops dead in her tracks, causing a minor traffic jam within the chaotic Boardwalk crowd. Did her heart skip a beat? Was it even beating still? She promptly reminded herself to breathe. She regained her composure, went to the bathroom, and washed her hands. While she was heading back to her station, she gazed out towards the ocean. She wondered to herself why Noah was no longer constantly on her mind, why it was Trent Kitty's voice that flitted through her head each time she had a quiet moment and even when she was busy. The customers must have wondered why that Kat girl working at Bazooka was such a bitch. She looked so nice. Cat's have their sharp claws ready and their teeth bared when they are scared. Kat was scared. As usual. She wonders if she'd scratched Trent Kitty on accident. And if she did, if she could lick him to apologize.
